About Our Charters
Ahoy Mates! Come aboard our 24 foot Luxury Leisure Craft pontoon boat and enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the rustic Smokey Mountains while fishing, swimming, or just relaxing upon beautiful Lake Fontana.
Lake Fontana is located in Western North Carolina, within easy driving distance from the Nantahala Gorge, Bryson City, Robbinsville, the Cherokee Indian Reservation, and the Fontana Village Resort located near Fontana Dam.
Our boat charters are guided by a Charter Boat Captain who is a licensed U.S.C.G. Merchant Marine Officer, and are designed to accommodate only you and your invited guests for private, year round boating fun.
Charter dates are confirmed by reservation only, and upon advanced payment of the scheduled charter. We are not open to the general public, nor do we rent our equipment out to the general public. Alcoholic beverages are permitted as long as the beverage is in a plastic cup, and the actual container is out of the public eye.
Charter boat excursions are offered year-
NEW! We are now using two different boat ramps depending on the level of the water, fuel costs, and specific types of charters. Both boat ramps, Lemmons Boat Ramp on Hwy 28 off Hwy 74/19, and the Old 288 Boat Ramp located in Bryson City are easy to get to and have plenty of parking. The Captain will inform you of which boat ramp to go to once the charter has been scheduled.
Guests can spend their charter time sightseeing, swimming, or fishing. Guests who wish to fishmust have a valid North Carolina fishing license, and your own fishing bait and equipment.

We provide fishing poles, bait, and tackle. Guests must obtain and show the Captain a valid North Carolina fishing license. Complimentary fish cleaning.

Oconoluftee River Trout Fishing
We now provide guided trout fishing excursions on the Oconoluftee River throughout the Cherokee Indian Reservation. Guests are required to obtain a tribal fishing license prior to the excursion, and must provide their own transportation, and fishing equipment. We will provide an experienced guide, bait, and fish cleaning services.

*Please note that rates are for up to 4 guests with 4 normal sized backpacks, and 2 normal sized coolers. A 125 lb weight limit per guest is strictly enforced. Our staff will not load or unload backpacks onto or off the vessel.
